In a remarkable display of dedication, Saudi officers are working tirelessly to provide seamless immigration services to thousands of Bangladeshi Hajj pilgrims as part of the Kingdom’s Makkah Route initiative, officials in Dhaka revealed on Friday.

Flagship Pre-Travel Program Eases the Journey for Pilgrims

The majority of pilgrims are embarking on their journey from Dhaka through the flagship pre-travel program established by the Kingdom in 2019. This program aims to assist pilgrims in meeting all visa, customs, and health requirements at their point of departure, saving them from long wait times upon arrival in Saudi Arabia.

Saudi Officials Ensure Smooth Operations at Dhaka Airport

Saudi Deputy Interior Minister Nasser bin Abdulaziz Al-Dawood recently inspected the Makkah Route preparations and facilities at the Dhaka airport. A team of approximately 150 Saudi officials has been deployed to Bangladesh to facilitate the pilgrimage journey for the pilgrims.

Efficient Immigration Process Leaves Pilgrims Impressed

Mohammed Kamruzzaman, director of Bangladesh’s Hajj Office, commended the efforts of the Saudi officials, stating that they are providing rigorous assistance to the pilgrims round the clock. The e-Hajj management system has exceeded expectations, with immigration formalities being completed smoothly and efficiently.

Smooth Operations Lead to Gratitude from Pilgrims

With the Hajj expected to commence on June 14 and conclude on June 19, pilgrims are expressing their appreciation for the seamless operations at the Dhaka airport. The immigration process for Bangladeshi and Saudi requirements is being conducted swiftly, thanks to upgraded equipment, leaving pilgrims amazed and grateful for the efficient services.

Coordination Between Bangladesh and Saudi Arabia Ensures Successful Hajj Flights

Saudi Arabia allocated a quota of 127,000 pilgrims for Bangladesh to perform the spiritual journey of Hajj, with flights from Dhaka commencing last week. Over 25,000 pilgrims have already traveled to the Kingdom on 66 flights, highlighting the excellent coordination between the e-Hajj management systems of both countries.

The smooth operations and efficient services have garnered heartfelt gratitude from the pilgrims towards the Saudi authorities, showcasing the successful collaboration between Bangladesh and Saudi Arabia in facilitating the Hajj pilgrimage.
