Saudi Arabia’s Grand Mosque in Makkah Expands with Two New Nursery Centers

In a groundbreaking move, two nursery centers have been established as part of the third Saudi expansion of the Grand Mosque in Makkah.

The General Authority for the Affairs of the Grand Mosque and the Prophet’s Mosque, in collaboration with various government agencies, have introduced these new services to cater to young visitors.

Located near Al-Haram Emergency Hospital, the centers offer a safe haven for children, with a combined capacity of approximately 1,500 children daily. Girls aged between 1 and ten years old and boys from 1 to 8 years old are welcome to partake in the services provided.

Staffed by a team of childcare specialists, the centers offer a range of amenities including meals, a dining area, and a space for educational entertainment through visual media. Interactive models highlighting the landmarks of the Two Holy Mosques and the rituals performed there are also available for children to engage with. Private sleeping rooms are provided for those in need of rest.
