Saudi Interior Ministry Introduces New Scheme to Reduce Traffic Fines by 50%
In a bold move, the Saudi interior ministry unveiled a new scheme on Thursday aimed at providing relief to motorists in the Kingdom burdened by outstanding fines. Under this new rule, drivers will have the opportunity to slash their fines by a whopping 50%.
Starting on April 18, a six-month window will be opened for motorists to take advantage of this grace policy, easing the financial strain on many individuals.
This decision, according to the ministry, is a direct result of the directives of King Salman and Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman, showing a commitment to making life easier for the citizens of Saudi Arabia.
The ministry also issued a strong reminder to drivers to uphold traffic laws and avoid committing violations, emphasizing the importance of responsible and safe driving practices.
