Riyadh Institute of Internal Auditors Board of Directors Meeting in Tanzania

The Institute of Internal Auditors (IIA) held its second board of directors meeting in Arusha, Tanzania, as reported by the Saudi Press Agency.

Dr. Hussam bin Abdulmohsen Al-Anqari, the president of the General Auditing Bureau and chairman of the board of directors at the Saudi Institute of Internal Auditors, along with other board members, attended the meeting.

The meeting focused on the activities of the current year, discussing agenda items and making recommendations and decisions for the future.

The board is dedicated to expanding its work in developing professional standards and raising awareness of the internal audit profession. It aims to stay at the forefront of technical and professional advancements, advancing the profession and its practitioners.

Future strategies are being developed to lead the field towards broader horizons in alignment with ongoing technological developments.
