Pakistani Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif Meets with Muslim World League Chief Dr. Mohammed bin Abdulkarim Al-Issa in Islamabad

In a high-profile meeting in Islamabad, Pakistani Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif welcomed Dr. Mohammed bin Abdulkarim Al-Issa, the chief of the Muslim World League. Sharif praised the MWL’s global efforts in unifying scholars, spreading the true message of Islam, and combatting Islamophobia, according to reports from the Saudi Press Agency.

During their discussions, Sharif and Al-Issa delved into topics of mutual interest and work related to Islam. Sharif emphasized the significance of Pakistan’s strong ties with the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, highlighting the shared faith and values that underpin their relationship.

Sharif also lauded the league’s initiatives to dispel misconceptions about Islam and address Islamophobia. He reaffirmed Pakistan’s unwavering support for the MWL’s endeavors within the country and beyond.

In a separate meeting held during his official visit to Pakistan, Dr. Al-Issa engaged in talks with Qazi Faez Isa, the chief justice of the Supreme Court. The discussions revolved around various issues pertaining to general constitutional principles and their subsidiary legislation.
