Saudi Shoura Council Speaker meets Jordan’s King Abdullah II
During an official visit to Jordan, the Speaker of Saudi Arabia’s Shoura Council, Dr. Abdullah bin Mohammed Al-Asheikh, had a significant meeting with King Abdullah II on Tuesday. The meeting, which also included Crown Prince Hussein, focused on the deep-rooted fraternal relations between the two countries, emphasizing the importance of collaboration on various fronts.
Strengthening Parliamentary Cooperation
Al-Asheikh’s visit to Jordan, in response to an invitation from Ahmed Safadi, speaker of the Jordanian House of Representatives, aimed at expanding cooperation in parliamentary affairs and other areas of mutual interest. The discussions between the two speakers highlighted the commitment to enhancing ties and strengthening parliamentary cooperation between the two councils.
Building Strong Bilateral Relations
Expressing gratitude for the warm reception, Al-Asheikh emphasized the significance of strengthening parliamentary cooperation to meet the aspirations of both countries’ leadership. Safadi acknowledged the robust relations between Saudi Arabia and Jordan, underscoring the support received from Saudi Arabia on various regional and international issues.
