According to the Saudi Press Agency, the RSAF Commander Lt. Gen. Prince Turki bin Bandar bin Abdulaziz personally saw off the Saudi team at King Faisal Air Base in the northern sector.

During the send-off, Prince Turki received a briefing on the team’s readiness and equipment, met with team members, and encouraged them to give it their all during the exercise. He emphasized the importance of maintaining safety standards and representing the RSAF with distinction.

Desert Flag is a crucial exercise in the region, and the RSAF will be participating with their F-15SA aircraft, along with all necessary air, technical, and support crews. Prince Turki highlighted that this participation will allow for the exchange of military experience, enhance readiness and combat efficiency, and strengthen relations with other participating forces.

Not stopping there, members of the Royal Saudi Air Force also recently took part in the annual medium-scale exercise INIOCHOS 2024 air drill in Greece. This exercise, known as one of the largest on the European continent, saw the RSAF showing off their skills with six Typhoon aircraft and accompanying crews.

The drill included a variety of operations, from offensive and defensive to strategic counterair and counterland operations. It also featured practice in combat search-and-rescue operations, showcasing the RSAF’s versatility and capabilities.
