Saudi Arabia’s Foreign Minister Discusses Strong Cooperation with Pakistan’s Army Chief

During his visit to Islamabad, Saudi Arabia’s foreign minister, Prince Faisal bin Farhan, engaged in talks with the chief of staff of the Pakistan Army, Gen. Asim Munir.

The discussions centered on enhancing the already “strong cooperation” between the two nations, with a focus on improving security and strategic cooperation to contribute to international peace and security.

Official Visit to Pakistan

Prince Faisal’s two-day official visit to Pakistan aimed to bolster economic cooperation between the two countries. In addition to meeting with Gen. Asim Munir, he also had discussions with President Asif Ali Zardari, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar.

Accompanying Prince Faisal was a high-level Saudi delegation, including Minister of Environment, Water and Agriculture Abdul Rahman Al-Fadhli, Minister of Industry and Mineral Resources Bandar Al-Khorayef, and senior officials from the ministries of energy and investment, as well as the Public Investment Fund.
