Riyadh Unveils New Museum Studies Program: A Gateway to Empowerment

Calling all aspiring museum professionals and enthusiasts in Saudi Arabia! A groundbreaking museum studies program has just been launched, offering a range of courses to ignite your passion for cultural heritage and innovation.

ilmi: The Beacon of Knowledge

Partnering with Princess Nourah bint Abdulrahman University, the program is the brainchild of ilmi, a pioneering center for science, technology, reading, engineering, arts, and mathematics learning. Translating to “my knowledge” in Arabic, ilmi is on a mission to empower the youth of Saudi Arabia through education and innovation.

A Visionary Collaboration

Founded by Princess Sara bint Mashour bin Abdulaziz, the initiative is supported by the Mohammed bin Salman Foundation, Misk, and operates in partnership with Mohammed bin Salman Nonprofit City. This visionary collaboration aims to shape the future of museum studies in the Kingdom.

Course Offerings

The museum studies program features a diverse range of courses, including micro-credential, diploma, minor, and elective options. Whether you’re a recent high-school graduate, a university student, or a seasoned professional looking to enhance your skills, there’s something for everyone.

Designed by experts from Saudi Arabia and around the world, the program offers a blend of online and in-person learning, with instruction available in both Arabic and English. Registration and Beyond

The first online micro-credential course, Fundamentals of museum management, is now open for registration. Additional courses will be offered in May and June, with diploma, minor, and elective programs kicking off in September.
