Marriott International Signs Agreement to Open Ritz-Carlton Reserve in Saudi Arabia
In a groundbreaking move, Marriott International, Inc. has announced a partnership with Neom to launch its second Ritz-Carlton Reserve in Saudi Arabia. The luxurious hotel is set to open in Trojena, a stunning mountain destination nestled in the northwest region of the country.
Ultimate Luxury Experience in Trojena
With plans for 60 spacious one-to-four-bedroom villas, the resort will offer a range of top-notch amenities including a lavish spa, inviting swimming pools, and multiple culinary options. Chadi Hauch, the regional vice president of Lodging Development Middle East at Marriott International, expressed excitement about the collaboration, stating, “Together with Neom, we look forward to bringing this ultra-luxury experience to Trojena.”
Executive director and Trojena region head Philip Gullett echoed this sentiment, emphasizing the uniqueness of Trojena as a destination. Gullett stated, “Trojena is a rare destination, and we are delighted that Ritz-Carlton Reserve has hand-picked the mountains of Neom for their next property. Together we will create an experience that can’t be recreated anywhere else.”
Year-Round Adventure Sports Destination
Trojena, a flagship development within Neom, is being positioned as a year-round adventure sports destination. Visitors can look forward to activities such as skiing, water sports, hiking, and mountain biking. The development will also include a variety of offerings such as apartments, chalets, retail outlets, dining options, entertainment venues, and sports facilities.
The addition of a W Hotel and a JW Marriott Hotel further enhances the hospitality options in Trojena. Ritz-Carlton Reserve, known for its exclusive collection of properties in exotic locations around the world, will add Saudi Arabia to its list of prestigious destinations.
