KSrelief Showcases Humanitarian Work at 2024 Islamic Development Bank Group Annual Meetings

The King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief) took center stage at the 2024 Islamic Development Bank Group Annual Meetings in Riyadh, captivating attendees with its impactful work that spans across 98 countries. Collaborating with 175 international, regional, and local partners, KSrelief showcased its commitment to providing relief and humanitarian aid in various sectors.

From food security to health, education, shelter, and humanitarian operations coordination, KSrelief’s initiatives leave no stone unturned in addressing the needs of vulnerable populations. The organization’s pavilion at the exhibition highlighted specialized programs like the Masam project for demining in Yemen, the Child Soldiers Rehabilitation Project, and the Prosthetic Limb Program.

During the event, KSRelief Supervisor General Dr. Abdullah Al Rabeeah engaged in a significant meeting with Bill Gates, co-chair of the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation. The discussions focused on enhancing cooperation and coordination to alleviate the suffering of individuals worldwide, underscoring the importance of collective action in humanitarian efforts.
