Saudi Arabia’s King Salman and Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman Extend Condolences to UAE Ruler
In a gesture of solidarity, King Salman and Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman of Saudi Arabia reached out to offer their condolences to the ruler of the United Arab Emirates following the passing of a key official and member of the royal family. The heartfelt messages were conveyed through cables sent to Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, the UAE president, as reported by the Saudi Press Agency.
In his message, King Salman expressed “our deepest and sincere condolences” over the loss of Sheikh Tahnoun bin Mohammed Al Nahyan, who served as Abu Dhabi’s ruler representative in Al Ain and passed away on May 1, 2024.
Similarly, Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman also expressed his sympathy, sending “my warmest and most sincere condolences” in a separate cable to the UAE leader. The touching gestures highlight the strong bond between the two neighboring nations during times of grief.
