Margo Marsden: A Stylish Journey in Saudi Arabia
Margo Marsden made the bold move to Saudi Arabia two years ago when her husband, a British oil and gas engineer, landed a job in the Kingdom. Since then, she has been sharing her adventures and experiences through social media platforms. Her TikTok bio proudly declares her as a “Russian mother married to a British father… living blissfully in Saudi Arabia.”
In an exclusive interview with Arab News, Marsden gushed, “Living in Saudi Arabia has exceeded our expectations. It has been the best decision for our family, and we have no regrets.” The professional stylist added, “The energy here is electrifying; one can feel the positive changes happening in the country, in line with the ambitious Vision 2030 plan. In my opinion, Saudi Arabia is the ultimate destination to live in 2024.”
Before settling in Saudi Arabia, Marsden traversed through multiple countries including Kazakhstan, Russia, Malaysia, Singapore, Italy, Turkiye, Lebanon, Thailand, the UK, and Norway.

Having briefly worked in Riyadh in 2019 with Zara during Ramadan, Marsden eagerly embraced the opportunity to return to the Kingdom when her husband’s job offer came through. She expressed her excitement, saying, “I love it here, and I can’t wait to share my fashion expertise with local and expat women to boost their confidence and refine their style.”
With over 20 years of experience in the fashion industry, Marsden’s passion for fashion started at a young age when she crafted outfits for her Barbie dolls under her mother’s guidance. She transitioned from modeling on runways across various countries to studying fashion design in Bangkok and personal styling in London. Her diverse career includes roles as a buyer, content creator, and stylist.
“My creative endeavors extend to coordinating photoshoots for personal and corporate clients,” Marsden shared. As a stylist, her primary goal is “to enhance my client’s natural beauty and empower them with confidence.” While she currently doesn’t have clients in Saudi Arabia, Marsden aspires to establish her own fashion business in the future.
