Saudi Arabia Condemns Brutal Attack on Aid Convoy to Gaza by Israeli Settlers

Saudi Arabia Condemns Israeli Settlers’ Attack on Jordanian Aid Convoy

In a bold statement, Saudi Arabia strongly denounced the recent attack by Israeli settlers on a Jordanian humanitarian aid convoy bound for the besieged Gaza Strip. This marks the second incident of its kind in less than a week, showcasing a disturbing trend of aggression.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs did not mince words, attributing these attacks to the failure of Israeli occupation forces to adhere to international humanitarian law. The Kingdom labeled this as a systematic obstruction of much-needed aid reaching Gaza and called on the international community to hold Israel accountable for its violations.

Jordan joined in the condemnation, with Foreign Ministry spokesperson, Sufyan Qudah, placing the blame squarely on Israel for the assault on the aid convoys. Qudah emphasized that Israel’s inaction to prevent such attacks is a clear violation of legal obligations.

The aid convoy, organized by the Jordan Hashemite Charity Organization, faced hostility from Israeli settlers on its way to the Beit Hanoun Crossing in northern Gaza. Despite the setback, the convoy persevered and successfully delivered its cargo to the war-torn region.

Kuwait also expressed outrage over the attacks, urging the international community to step up and prevent such incidents from recurring. The Kuwaiti foreign ministry emphasized the importance of ensuring the continuous and safe delivery of aid to alleviate the humanitarian crisis in Gaza.
