Saudi Arabia’s KSrelief Agency Saving Lives in Yemen

In a powerful display of humanitarianism, Saudi Arabia’s aid agency KSrelief is currently conducting life-saving cardiac surgeries and catheterizations for both children and adults at the prestigious Prince Mohammed bin Salman Hospital in Yemen’s Aden governorate.

With a team of 23 highly skilled medical specialists working tirelessly until May 15, this initiative is a joint effort with the Saudi Development and Reconstruction Program for Yemen, showcasing the kingdom’s commitment to providing crucial medical assistance to those in need.

Already, the medical team has successfully completed 35 cardiac catheterizations and eight open-heart surgeries, bringing hope and healing to countless individuals.

But the aid doesn’t stop there – KSrelief has also wrapped up another medical project in Aden governorate, which included a staggering 226 procedures for individuals suffering from burns, deformities, and sports injuries. This incredible endeavor took place from April 27 to May 5, 2024.

Furthermore, the impact of this aid can be seen in the numbers: 1,026 individuals were treated at the dermatology clinic, 2,317 at the family medicine clinic, and 587 at the dentistry clinic. Additionally, 78 staffers were trained in sports rehabilitation, ensuring a lasting impact on the community’s health and well-being.
