Saudi Real Estate Sector Gears Up for Major Supply Chain Event in Riyadh

With the Minister of Municipal and Rural Affairs and Housing Majid bin Abdullah Al-Hogail backing the event, the National Housing Co. is all geared up to host the Real Estate Supply Chain Forum on May 20-21 at the JW Marriott Hotel Riyadh. The goal? Boosting the growth of the property sector.

The forum will bring together a mix of local and international companies, consultants, contractors, and manufacturers to explore collaboration opportunities focused on delivering top-notch, affordable housing projects. Saudi Press Agency reports.

Expect promising investment chances, the inking of investment agreements, setting new standards, and discovering innovative solutions for real estate development at the event.

And that’s not all – the gathering will also unveil the newest agreements securing supply chains between the NHC and various local and global partners.

Scheduled dialogue sessions will shed light on the latest technologies in the building materials industry, fostering the exchange of expertise between local and international companies to bolster the supply chain network.

Recently, the NHC sealed a deal with China’s CITIC Construction Group to set up an industrial city and logistic zones for building materials, consisting of 12 factories. The aim? Ensuring supply chains for NHC’s housing projects.

NHC CEO Mohammad Al-Buty sealed the deal during Al-Hogail’s official visit to China, emphasizing the importance of securing supply chains for timely completion and high quality of housing projects.

This move by the Saudi company includes the construction of 12 specialized factories for building materials, leveraging Chinese expertise and involving local factories to elevate business standards.

The agreement also looks to attract top-tier service providers across various sectors, subsidiaries, and projects, while maximizing the economic and developmental impact of the real estate sector in the Kingdom.

With a focus on developing housing projects, enhancing quality, and driving national transformation in the construction sector through industrial cities and logistic zones, the Saudi company is all set to make waves in the real estate sector.
