Stunning Saudi Fashion Star Nojoud Al-Rumaihi Steals the Show at Cannes

Saudi Fashion Star Stuns at Cannes Film Festival

Nojoud Al-Rumaihi, a Saudi fashion star, stole the spotlight at the 77th Cannes Film Festival with her stunning blush ensemble designed by Mohammed Ashi of Ashi Studio in Paris.

The two-piece set from Ashi’s 8PM collection featured a strapless corset-style top with intricate embroidery and a criss-cross back. The skirt had a mermaid silhouette with a trailing train on the red carpet, complemented by fluffy, feathered detached sleeves to complete the look.

Al-Rumaihi, with her makeup done by Dior Beauty, rocked a short retro bob hairstyle and accessorized with Marli jewelry. She attended the premiere of the movie “The Apprentice,” directed by Ali Abbasi.

The Origin Story of Donald Trump

As Donald Trump’s hush money trial continued in New York, a critical portrayal of the former president emerged in an origin story set in the 1980s. Sebastian Stan played Trump in the movie “The Apprentice,” focusing on his relationship with Roy Cohn, his mentor in ruthless New York City politics and business.

Cohn, portrayed by Jeremy Strong, was instrumental in Trump’s early career, including assisting the Trump Organization during a lawsuit for racial discrimination in housing. The film is a potential explosive drama amidst the US presidential election and is currently for sale at Cannes without a release date.

Saudi Celebrities Shine at Cannes

Al-Rumaihi was not the only Saudi celebrity making waves at Cannes. Actress Maria Bahrawi attended The Red Sea International Film Foundation Industry Networking Event in a stunning long-sleeved dress adorned with white florals, showcasing pastel hues of purple, yellow, and orange.

She also graced the celebration of the film “Norah,” in which she stars, hosted by Film AlUla during the festival. For the occasion, she opted for a black jumpsuit with a white cape attached to the sleeve, sourced from Dubai-based Etoile La Boutique.
