Uzbekistan Pilgrims Arrive in Makkah for Hajj

The bustling city of Makkah welcomed the first group of pilgrims from Uzbekistan, totaling 950 individuals, on Thursday as they prepared for the sacred journey of Hajj.

Expressing their gratitude towards the Kingdom’s government for the exceptional services and facilities provided to ensure a safe and reassuring pilgrimage, the pilgrims were filled with anticipation and reverence.

Saudi Ambassador Sees off Hajj Pilgrims from Morocco and Niger

In a heartfelt farewell ceremony at Rabat-Sale Airport, the Saudi ambassador to Morocco, Sami Al-Saleh, bid adieu to the first group of Hajj pilgrims from Morocco. Accompanied by the Moroccan minister of endowments and Islamic affairs, Ahmed Toufiq, and other government officials, the pilgrims set off on their spiritual journey to the Kingdom.

Similarly, the Saudi ambassador to Niger, Zaid Al-Harbi, oversaw the departure of the first group of Nigerien pilgrims from the capital, Niamey. With the country’s prime minister, Ali Lamine Zeine, in attendance, the pilgrims embarked on their pilgrimage to Makkah.

Warm Welcome for Iraqi Pilgrims at Arar Border Crossing

As a second group of Hajj pilgrims from Iraq arrived at the Arar border crossing in the Northern Borders Province, they were greeted with a warm welcome and a range of services to streamline entry procedures.

Expressing their gratitude and admiration for the generous hospitality and exceptional services provided by the Kingdom’s leadership, the Iraqi pilgrims commended the authorities responsible for Hajj affairs. The facilities at the crossing, operating 24/7 throughout the Hajj season, aim to provide the pilgrims with the best possible pilgrimage experience.
