Saudi Finance Minister reveals groundbreaking AI plan for global sustainability!

Saudi Arabia Paving the Way for Global Sustainable Development through Artificial Intelligence

In a bold move towards shaping the future, Saudi Arabia is positioning itself as a key player in advancing sustainable development worldwide, particularly through the power of artificial intelligence. According to the Kingdom’s finance minister, Mohammed Al-Jadaan, this commitment was highlighted during the third meeting of G7 finance ministers and central bank governors under the Italian presidency in Stresa, Italy.

During a session titled “AI and Development: Challenges and Opportunities,” Al-Jadaan emphasized the Kingdom’s dedication to embracing technology, with a special focus on AI, to drive inclusive growth. This vision is in line with Saudi Arabia’s National Strategy for Data and AI, which aims to solidify the Kingdom’s position as a global leader in technology by the year 2030.

Furthermore, the minister also took part in a session titled “Addressing Financing Needs of Vulnerable Countries,” where he highlighted the transformative potential of a multidimensional approach to addressing debt vulnerabilities. This strategy aims to not only create fiscal space but also enhance resilience and make progress towards achieving the Sustainable Development Goals.
