The primary goal of the visit is to delve into potential joint investment opportunities between the two nations, aiming to expand and solidify their economic partnership.

During his trip, Alkhorayef is set to engage in high-level meetings with Dutch ministers, government officials, and prominent figures from the private sector. The discussions will center around collaboration strategies within the industrial and mining domains.

Additionally, the minister’s packed schedule includes visits to various Dutch factories and companies operating in these sectors. These visits serve as a platform to foster collaborative ventures amongst private sector entities from both Saudi Arabia and the Netherlands.

In 2023, non-oil exports from the Kingdom to the Netherlands reached approximately SR2.6 billion ($706 million), while non-oil imports from the Netherlands stood at nearly SR8.5 billion.
