Jeddah Islamic Port Welcomes First Group of Pilgrims Traveling by Ship for Hajj
Arriving from Sudan on Monday, the first group of pilgrims traveling by ship to perform this year’s Hajj made a grand entrance at Jeddah Islamic Port, as reported by Saudi Press Agency.
Providing a plethora of specialized logistical services to cater to the needs of pilgrims, the Saudi Ports Authority plays a crucial role in streamlining arrival and departure procedures. Additionally, the port facilitates the smooth passage of goods, ensuring their timely arrival at local markets during the Hajj season.
Equipped with a maritime control tower, tugboats, a dedicated passenger hall for arrivals and departures, and a special dock for livestock, the services and facilities at the port are designed to guarantee the safe and convenient journey of pilgrims.
