Riyadh Launches Multilingual Health Awareness Campaign for Hajj Pilgrims

In a bid to ensure the safety and well-being of Hajj pilgrims, the Madinah Health Cluster has rolled out an extensive health awareness campaign in multiple languages, as reported by the Saudi Press Agency on Tuesday.

Collaboration with Ministry of Hajj and Umrah and Madinah Development Authority

Teaming up with the Ministry of Hajj and Umrah and the Madinah Development Authority, the campaign kicked off as the first batch of pilgrims made their way to Madinah earlier this month.

Smart Display Screens and Various Media Platforms Utilized

The initiative features 97 smart display screens strategically placed at key locations such as the Prince Mohammad bin Abdulaziz International Airport, the Haramain High Speed Railway station, shuttle buses, pilgrim reception centers, malls, and the health cluster’s facilities.

Moreover, the campaign leverages various media channels and social platforms to disseminate information in languages including English, French, Urdu, Persian, and Arabic. Health personnel also conduct field tours targeting areas frequented by pilgrims, such as hotels.

Focus on Important Health Topics

The messages delivered through the campaign cover a wide range of crucial health topics, including the dangers of direct sun exposure, heat exhaustion, dehydration, food poisoning, first aid, personal hygiene, and more.
