Saudi Arabia’s Ministry of Media and Microsoft Arabia Join Forces in Riyadh
In a groundbreaking move, Saudi Arabia’s Ministry of Media and Microsoft Arabia signed a memorandum of understanding in Riyadh on Tuesday, marking the beginning of a strategic partnership. This collaboration aims to revolutionize various aspects of the media industry and propel it into the future.
The signing ceremony, attended by Assistant Minister of Media Abdullah Al-Maghlouth and Ziad Mansour, Microsoft’s executive vice president of data and artificial intelligence, was a momentous occasion. The presence of Bassem Al-Hazmi, the general manager of digital transformation and information technology, and the general manager of cybersecurity, added to the significance of the event. President of Microsoft Arabia Turki Badhris also graced the occasion with his presence.
The partnership will focus on enhancing technical capabilities in areas such as data analysis, self-learning, AI, security and privacy solutions, and software and service development solutions. The ultimate goal is to elevate the quality of local media content and align it with global standards to meet the future objectives of the Ministry of Media.
