Saudi Foreign Minister Prince Faisal bin Farhan Applauds China’s Support for Gaza Peace Efforts

During the China-Arab States Cooperation Forum in Beijing, Saudi Foreign Minister Prince Faisal bin Farhan commended China for backing initiatives to end the conflict in Gaza and advocate for a two-state solution.

Prince Faisal reiterated the urgent need for an immediate and lasting ceasefire in Gaza, as well as a continuous flow of aid to the region.

He emphasized the importance of enhanced collaboration to establish a dependable and irreversible path towards the two-state solution, highlighting the necessity of ongoing dialogue for achieving peace in the region.

Prince Faisal also voiced opposition to foreign interference in the Middle East, calling for collective efforts to prevent the proliferation of weapons of mass destruction in the area.

At a summit focused on the Israel-Hamas conflict, Chinese President Xi Jinping pledged increased humanitarian assistance for Gaza and proposed an international peace conference.

The summit, attended by leaders from Egypt, the UAE, Bahrain, Tunisia, and other nations, aimed to address both China’s expanding trade relations and security challenges linked to the Israel-Hamas conflict.
