Riyadh: KSrelief Extends Aid Projects in Yemen

In a recent report by the Saudi Press Agency, the Kingdom’s aid agency KSrelief is expanding its assistance programs in Yemen to support vulnerable populations in various regions.

Empowering Orphans and Women in Taiz and Hadramout

KSrelief has launched a life-skills program in Taiz and the Hadramout governorate, focusing on empowering orphans and women through activities such as sewing, business management, and mobile phone maintenance.

Promoting Community Cohesion in Aden

In Aden, KSrelief collaborated with the UN Development Programme to conduct a training program on community cohesion. This initiative covered topics like peace committees, conflict resolution, and mediation to foster a more harmonious environment.

Providing Essential Food and Hygiene Supplies

The aid agency distributed 634 food parcels to 4,438 individuals in Aden and delivered 2,600 personal hygiene bags to displaced people in Hodeidah’s Al-Jisha and Bani Jaber camps.

Improving Access to Clean Water

KSrelief signed agreements with civil society organizations in Taiz and Socotra governorates to improve access to clean water. In Taiz, a well will be dug to benefit 3,150 individuals, while in Socotra, a tank will be constructed to supply villages with clean water.
