Attention Visitors: Saudi Authorities Crack Down on Unauthorized Hajj Performances in Makkah!

Saudi Authorities Warn Visitors: Visit Visas Do Not Permit Hajj Pilgrimage

In a recent announcement, the General Directorate of Public Security in Saudi Arabia has made it clear that visit visas, regardless of their type or designation, do not grant holders permission to perform the sacred Hajj pilgrimage. This directive was reported by the Saudi Press Agency on Thursday.

Warning Issued to Visitors Holding Visit Visas

The authority has strongly advised all visitors to the Kingdom who are in possession of a visit visa not to travel to Makkah or stay there during the period between May 23 and June 21. This precautionary measure is crucial to ensure compliance with Hajj regulations and to maintain the sanctity of the pilgrimage.

Strict Penalties for Violating Hajj Regulations

According to the directorate, over 20,000 visitors have already violated Hajj regulations by being present in Makkah without a valid visa. The authority emphasized that strict penalties will be imposed on those who breach these regulations, in line with the Kingdom’s laws and guidelines. This enforcement is necessary to safeguard the safety and well-being of authorized pilgrims and to uphold a peaceful and secure environment for the Hajj pilgrimage.
