Saudi Arabia’s KSrelief Continues to Provide Aid to Vulnerable Populations
KSrelief, Saudi Arabia’s aid agency, is making a significant impact on the health and well-being of vulnerable populations in Jordan’s Zaatari refugee camp and Yemen.
Health Support in Zaatari Refugee Camp
Health workers at clinics operated by KSrelief in Zaatari refugee camp have been diligently treating patients in need. In the month of May alone, over 2,349 patients received medical care. Procedures were carried out on 335 patients, addressing issues such as tonsillitis, ear infections, and sinus infections.
Food Distribution in Yemen
In addition to providing health support, KSrelief is also addressing food insecurity in Yemen. In Aden and Lahj, 680 families were given food assistance, benefiting a total of 4,760 individuals. This aid is crucial in ensuring that vulnerable populations have access to the nutrition they need to thrive.
