Excitement as Pilgrims from Bahrain and Jordan Embark on Hajj Journey

The air was buzzing with excitement as the first group of pilgrims from Bahrain and Jordan set off for Saudi Arabia on Sunday to fulfill their Hajj pilgrimage.

Nawaf bin Mohammed Al Maawda, Bahrain’s minister of Justice, Islamic Affairs and Waqf and chairman of the high committee for Hajj and Umrah affairs, personally bid the pilgrims farewell, underscoring the significance of the journey ahead.

Amidst the departure, the minister took a moment to praise the unwavering dedication of Saudi King Salman and Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman in ensuring the comfort and safety of the pilgrims throughout their sacred journey.

In a separate event, the Jordanian minister of Awqaf and Islamic Affairs and Holy Sites, Mohammad Khalayleh, presided over the farewell ceremony for the first batch of Jordanian pilgrims, setting the tone for a series of emotional send-offs to come.

According to reports from the state-run Petra News Agency, more groups are gearing up to depart throughout the week, highlighting the widespread anticipation surrounding this annual pilgrimage.

During the ceremony, Khalayleh reiterated the ministry’s commitment to addressing any challenges and obstacles that may arise for Jordanian pilgrims during their pilgrimage to Saudi Arabia, emphasizing the importance of a smooth and seamless journey.

Praising the ministry’s meticulous planning and preparation for the Hajj season, Khalayleh emphasized the adherence to both the ministry’s guidelines and the regulations set forth by Saudi authorities to ensure a well-organized pilgrimage for all.
