Riyadh Reassures King Salman of Hajj Preparations

In a statement released on Tuesday, the Saudi cabinet provided an update to King Salman regarding the completion of preparations and arrangements for the upcoming Hajj season. The Saudi Press Agency reported that the king was briefed on the efforts and projects undertaken by various government agencies to enhance the comfort and well-being of pilgrims, as well as their capabilities.

Expressing Saudi Arabia’s pride in serving the two holy mosques and their visitors, the king emphasized the importance of ensuring a smooth and fulfilling Hajj experience for all pilgrims.

During the meeting, the cabinet also discussed the letters received by King Salman and Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman from the leaders of Jordan, Egypt, and Somalia, highlighting the strong diplomatic ties between Saudi Arabia and these countries.

Minister of Media Salman bin Yousef Al-Dossary shared that the Cabinet welcomed the positive outcomes of the second Saudi-Kuwaiti Coordination Council meeting, emphasizing the commitment to deepening cooperation and collaboration in various sectors to serve mutual interests and strengthen regional and international coordination.

Additionally, the Cabinet reviewed the Kingdom’s participation in recent meetings of the Gulf Cooperation Council and the Arab League, expressing optimism for further progress in joint endeavors and broader collaboration within the framework of existing relations and historic ties.

The meeting also addressed recent developments in regional and international affairs, reaffirming the Kingdom’s dedication to supporting international efforts aimed at achieving regional security and stability.
