Saudi Arabia’s Supreme Court Urges Muslims to Look for Dhul Hijjah Crescent
In a call to action, the Supreme Court of Saudi Arabia is urging Muslims in the Kingdom to keep an eye out for the Dhul Hijjah crescent on Thursday evening.
Individuals who spot the crescent, whether with their naked eye or through binoculars, are being asked to report their sighting to the nearest court and provide their testimony.
If unable to reach a court, they can also contact the nearest center for guidance on how to proceed.
Dhul Hijjah is a significant month in Islam, as it marks the time when the Hajj pilgrimage occurs. The pilgrimage begins on the 8th of Dhul Hijjah and concludes on the 12th.
