Hajj Minister Reveals Shocking Truth: 1 Million Pilgrims Already in Kingdom!

Over One Million Pilgrims Arrive in Kingdom for Hajj Season

In a press conference held in Riyadh, Minister of Hajj and Umrah Tawfiq Al-Rabiah confirmed the arrival of over one million pilgrims in the Kingdom for the Hajj season. Stressing the importance of adherence to regulations and cooperation with authorities, Al-Rabiah emphasized that Hajj is solely for worship and not for any political activities.

Through the Makkah Road Initiative, the ministry is dedicated to delivering pilgrims’ luggage to their residences, with the Saudi government covering all associated costs to ensure a smooth and convenient Hajj experience for all pilgrims.

An international campaign has been launched to combat fake Hajj packages, with the Hajj Nusuk App offering over 120 services to assist pilgrims. Pilgrims from 126 countries can now apply for Hajj electronically, without the need for intermediaries or travel agents, in order to prevent fraud.

With the construction of 11 new buildings in Mina to accommodate 37,000 pilgrims, Al-Rabiah also announced the recruitment of 10,000 volunteers for this year’s pilgrimage. Additionally, the Sacred Sites Metro Line will be operational during the pilgrimage season, with a transfer capacity of 72,000 pilgrims per hour.
