Breaking: Saudi defense ministry’s groundbreaking Hajj prep!

Ministry of Defense Fully Prepared to Support Security Services During Hajj Season

In a statement released by the Saudi Press Agency on Friday, the Ministry of Defense announced that it has completed all preparations for the upcoming Hajj season. The ministry is fully equipped to assist the nation’s security services and government agencies in ensuring the safety and well-being of pilgrims.

Supervisory Committee Takes Charge

A supervisory committee, led by the director of the Joint Staff of the Armed Forces, has been established to oversee and coordinate all tasks assigned to the ministry’s units. This committee will be responsible for planning, preparing, and supervising the operations during the Hajj season.

Focus on Security Measures

The ministry will work closely with the Ministry of Interior to implement security plans aimed at preventing any disruptions to the safety of pilgrims. This includes supervising the courtyards of the Holy Mosque in Makkah, managing airspace over the holy sites, and monitoring the flow of crowds to and from the holy sites.

Medical Support and International Guests

The ministry has set up hospitals and emergency centers to provide medical support in collaboration with the Ministry of Health. Additionally, the ministry will host employees, children of Saudi and Yemeni martyrs, and pilgrims from over 20 countries.

Educational Initiatives for Pilgrims

Pilgrims and guests staying at the ministry’s camps will have the opportunity to attend scientific and guidance lectures delivered by scholars and sheikhs. These educational initiatives aim to enhance the spiritual experience of pilgrims during Hajj.
