Breaking News: Saudi authorities capture 15 Hajj permit violators!

15 Violators Arrested at Makkah Entrances for Hajj Regulations

In a bold move, authorities in Saudi Arabia cracked down on 15 individuals who attempted to enter Makkah without a valid permit for Hajj. The Saudi Press Agency reported on Tuesday that the Ministry of Interior took action against four residents and 11 citizens who tried to transport 71 people on Monday.

The Hajj Security Forces were quick to act, arresting the violators and issuing 15 administrative decisions against them. Each carrier received a 15-day prison sentence and a hefty fine of SR10,000 ($2,666). The fine will be multiplied by the number of people transported, and expatriate violators will face deportation and a ban from reentering the Kingdom.

To send a strong message, authorities also confiscated a vehicle used for transportation. The Ministry of Interior emphasized the importance of following Hajj regulations to ensure the safety, security, and comfort of all pilgrims during their sacred journey. All citizens and expatriates are urged to comply with instructions to avoid similar consequences.
