Saudi Crown Prince Meets with Ukrainian President in Jeddah
In a high-profile meeting on Wednesday, Saudi Arabia’s Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman sat down with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky in Jeddah, as reported by Saudi Press Agency.
During their discussion, the two leaders delved into the intricate web of relations between Saudi Arabia and Ukraine, while also addressing the ongoing Ukrainian-Russian crisis.
Emphasizing the Kingdom’s unwavering commitment to international diplomacy, the crown prince expressed full support for global efforts aimed at resolving the crisis.
Beyond diplomatic talks, the leaders also tackled the pressing issue of mitigating the humanitarian fallout from the crisis. Zelensky took the opportunity to express gratitude for Saudi Arabia’s proactive efforts in this area.
Earlier in the day, Zelensky landed in the coastal city and was warmly welcomed by Prince Saud bin Mishal bin Abdulaziz, the deputy governor of the Makkah Region.
