Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi Arrives in Jeddah for Hajj
In an unprecedented move, Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi landed in Jeddah on Friday to embark on his Hajj journey amidst the start of the annual pilgrimage.
El-Sisi had arrived in the Kingdom a day prior and had already visited and prayed at the Prophet’s Mosque in Madinah.
Sporting the traditional ihram attire, the president was bid farewell by Madinah’s governor, Prince Salman bin Sultan bin Abdulaziz, at the Prince Mohammed bin Abdulaziz International Airport earlier on Friday.
