Saudi Ministry Distributes Nearly 2 Million Copies of the Holy Qur’an to Departing Hajj Pilgrims

The Ministry of Islamic Affairs, Dawah, and Guidance in Saudi Arabia has kicked off the distribution of 1,879,352 copies of the holy Qur’an to Hajj pilgrims who are returning home, according to a report by the Saudi Press Agency.

Printed by the prestigious King Fahd Complex for the Printing of the Holy Qur’an, these copies come in various sizes to cater to the needs of all pilgrims. What’s more, translations of the holy book are available in over 77 languages, showcasing the ministry’s dedication to inclusivity and respect for all pilgrims as they make their way back to their respective countries through King Abdulaziz International Airport, Jeddah Islamic Port, and other border crossings.

As the 2024 Hajj season draws to a close, some pilgrims have already begun their journey home after completing their sacred pilgrimage. Many have also taken the opportunity to visit Madinah before heading back, reflecting on their spiritual journey and the significance of their pilgrimage experience.
