The Saudi Minister of Human Resources and Social Development, Ahmad bin Sulaiman Al-Rajhi, commended the dedication and hard work of workers and volunteers during the Hajj pilgrimage. Al-Rajhi highlighted that the efforts of workers and volunteers align with the directives of the leadership, which prioritize providing support and facilitating various services for pilgrims. He emphasized the importance of integration and cooperation between government and private sectors to enhance the Hajj experience.

Visit to Operations Center

During his visit to the main operations center of the human resources and social development system for Hajj, Al-Rajhi received updates on the progress of work and the efforts of the ministry’s inspection teams in ensuring compliance with regulations by establishments operating during Hajj.

Initiatives and Services for Pilgrims

The ministry has launched several services and initiatives to support pilgrims, workers, and establishments during the Hajj season. These include enabling seasonal work through the Hajj employee service and the seasonal visa service. The ministry’s inspection committees work closely with relevant authorities to monitor the work system provisions continuously.

Anti-Begging Initiative and Child Hospitality Centers

As part of their efforts, the ministry has introduced an anti-begging initiative in multiple languages for the Hajj season. They have also overseen 22 child hospitality centers in Makkah and the holy sites. Additionally, the ministry has implemented various volunteer and service plans to ensure the well-being of pilgrims.
