Najran Camel Racecourse Hosts Second Mafarid Race

The Najran Camel Racecourse recently organized its second Mafarid race, a thrilling event that showcased the best of camel racing in Saudi Arabia. This race was part of the Saudi Camel Racing Federation’s competitions for the 2024 season, bringing together some of the fastest and most skilled camels in the region.

Exciting Competition

The race featured rounds for both male and female camels in the Mafarid category, covering a challenging distance of 1.5 km. A total of 641 camels participated in the event, each vying for the top spot and showcasing their speed and agility on the track.

Victorious Camels

In a series of intense rounds, the top camels emerged victorious. Female camel Al-Hathra, owned by Hussein Al-Salem, took first place in the first round, while male Muwaffaq, owned by Manea Al-Munjim, claimed victory in the second round. The competition heated up as female Bayan, owned by Fares Al-Mansour, and male Al-Hather, owned by Mesfer Al-Rizk, secured first place in the third and fourth rounds, respectively.

The excitement continued as female Al-Wathba, owned by Abdullah Al-Kabri, and male Shahin, owned by Ali Al-Rizk, triumphed in the fifth and sixth rounds. Female Al-Shahinah, owned by Ali Al-Yami, showcased her skills by taking first place in the seventh round, followed by male Al-Don, owned by Mohammed Al-Saiari, in the eighth round.

The competition remained fierce as camels like Al-Mazn, owned by Manea Al-Rizk, and Al-Faiz, owned by Hassan Al-Hamami, claimed victory in the ninth and tenth rounds. The winners continued to impress, with camels like Harbah, Mowajah, Mazah, Jakoor, and Intibah showcasing their speed and agility in the subsequent rounds.
