Revolutionizing the Automotive Industry: Saudi-Japanese Institute Leads the Way!

Saudi Japanese Automobile High Institute: Leading the Way in Automotive Training

In the fast-paced world of Saudi Arabia’s automotive sector, the demand for advanced technology and skilled professionals is on the rise. The Saudi Japanese Automobile High Institute is at the forefront of meeting this demand.

Established in 2003 with support from the late King Abdullah, this non-profit center offers specialized technical training for Saudi high school graduates, with a focus on Japanese automobile technology. It symbolizes the strong collaboration between the Kingdom and Japan.

CEO Hattan Nadhirah emphasized the changing perception of car mechanics among Saudi youth, attributing it to advances in governance, the ambitious goals of Saudi Vision 2030, and the increasing interest in sports events like Formula 1 and the Dakar Rally.

The institute provides a comprehensive two-year training program with a capacity for up to 500 students. It offers practical training with modern equipment and over 100 Japanese cars for hands-on experience.

With an international faculty from eight nations, including Japan, the Philippines, and India, the institute creates a diverse learning environment. Each class consists of 50 students divided into five groups, maintaining a focus on quality education.

Innovative technologies like a 3D-printed simulator for hybrid cars and projects such as building a buggy-type car from scratch showcase the institute’s commitment to hands-on learning.

Prioritizing safety, the institute implements the 5Ss principle and medical lectures to ensure a disciplined and secure environment for students. Practical on-the-job training at top automotive companies like Toyota and Nissan further enhances students’ skills.

Continuous collaboration with Nippon Engineering College and Honda Technical College ensures that the curriculum stays updated to meet industry needs. An annual technical skills competition highlights students’ proficiency.

Students like Saud Ahmad Alghanim, Yazeed Waleed Sendi, and Aseel Mashabi share their positive experiences at the institute, emphasizing the importance of passion, organization, and confidence in pursuing a career in the automotive industry.

With registration open until the end of July for the next academic year, the Saudi Japanese Automobile High Institute continues to prepare students for successful careers in the dynamic automotive sector.
