Shocking! Over 13K Immigration Violators Busted by Authorities

Riyadh Crackdown: Over 13,000 Arrested in Joint Field Campaign

In a sweeping joint field campaign spanning all regions of the Kingdom from June 20 to 26, authorities have apprehended a staggering 13,445 violators of residency, work, and border-security laws.

Of the total arrests, 3,230 individuals were caught for breaching Saudi border-security regulations, while 1,452 others were nabbed for violating the Kingdom’s work rules.

Notably, 1,063 people were intercepted attempting to enter the Kingdom illegally, with 36% hailing from Yemen, 62% from Ethiopia, and 2% from other nations. Additionally, 66 individuals were apprehended trying to exit the Kingdom unlawfully during the crackdown.

Furthermore, one person was taken into custody for aiding and abetting those who flouted residency, work, and border-security laws, as well as for concealing their illicit activities.
