Riyadh Hosts Seminar on Women in Diplomatic Work

In a groundbreaking event, the Kingdom’s Foreign Ministry organized a seminar in Riyadh titled “The Role of Women in Diplomatic Work,” as reported by the Saudi Press Agency.

The seminar, held at the prestigious Prince Saud Al-Faisal Institute for Diplomatic Studies, was a commemoration of the UN International Day of Women in Diplomacy.

Among the distinguished attendees were Saudi Arabia’s Deputy Foreign Minister Waleed bin Abdulkarim Al-Khuraiji, female ambassadors to the Kingdom, and members of the foreign diplomatic corps.

During the discussions, participants delved into the achievements and challenges faced by women in the diplomatic sector.

In his address, Al-Khuraiji emphasized the significant progress in empowering women in various sectors under the visionary leadership of King Salman and Crown Prince Mohammad bin Salman, as part of Vision 2030.

He proudly highlighted that Saudi women now hold positions as ambassadors, lead international organizations, and represent the Kingdom in foreign missions and delegations.
