XP Music Futures 2024: Embracing the Theme of Flourish
The annual music conference, XP Music Futures, has revealed the theme for its highly anticipated 2024 edition: Flourish.
This year, the focus is on expanding the reach and impact of XP by forming partnerships with educational institutions to engage with the youth, collaborating with partners on experiences and demo labs, and enhancing the maturity of the event’s six initiatives.
MDLBEAST Event at Riyadh’s JAX District
Scheduled to take place from December 5 to 7 at Riyadh’s JAX District, the MDLBEAST event promises a comprehensive program that spans both day and night. The three-day conference will feature a plethora of sessions including fireside chats, keynotes, panel discussions, fishbowls, and workshops aimed at fostering growth in the music scene and industry across the MENA region.
XP Music Futures 2024 will once again showcase various initiatives that aim to drive development within the regional music sector.
Initiatives at XP Music Futures
– Xperform: Providing a platform for regional talents to showcase their skills at XP Music Futures and advance their music careers with MDLBEAST Records. This year’s judges include Shamma Hamdan, Defencii, Hassan Abouelrouss, and Rawan Alfassi.
– Xchange: Addressing pertinent issues in the region’s music industry through a series of workshops held in various cities before the XP conference. The workshops aim to bring in industry experts to explore XP’s core pillars and identify key topics for the conference agenda, fostering community building among members of the regional music scene.
– Hunna: A women-led initiative focused on amplifying women in the music industry.
– Storm Shaker: A DJ competition open to aspiring DJs from the MENA region and beyond to showcase their talents.
– Artist Management Bootcamp (AMB): A hybrid two-week bootcamp designed to equip aspiring artist managers with the necessary skills and knowledge to navigate the music industry.
– Sound Futures: Inviting aspiring musicians and innovators to pitch their ideas to music industry investors, with the aim of securing funding and mentorship for their careers.
