Discover Saudi Heritage at Harrods: Diriyah Company’s $63bn Showcase!

Diriyah Company Showcases Saudi Culture and Heritage at Harrods

Brace yourself, Londoners! Diriyah Company is taking over the prestigious Harrods department store this month with a one-of-a-kind pop-up exhibition. Get ready to immerse yourself in the rich culture and heritage of Saudi Arabia as you explore the $63 billion mega-development project unfolding in Diriyah, the historic birthplace of the Kingdom.

An Immersive Experience Like No Other

The exhibition, which kicked off on Monday and runs until July 26, is set to captivate the 450,000 visitors expected at Harrods this month. The focal point of the event is a stunning display showcasing the grand master plan of the ambitious urban development project. Picture this – an area six-and-a-half times the size of Monaco, featuring luxurious hotels, four metro stations, and a plethora of retail and commercial spaces.

A Taste of Saudi Architecture and Luxury Living

Diriyah Company has teamed up with Harrods to transform the space into a dazzling exhibition that narrates the tale of Saudi heritage and architecture. The exhibit seamlessly blends elements of the traditional Najdi architectural style, with a warm color scheme of yellows, oranges, and browns. A standout feature is the showcase of 350 residences developed by renowned luxury brands such as Ritz Carlton, Baccarat, and Corinthia.

The Best of the Best

According to Diriyah Company’s chief marketing officer, Kiran Jay Haslam, collaborating with these luxury brands brings a unique touch to the project. Each brand offers something distinct – from the modern luxury and classic French elegance of Baccarat to the family-centric feel of Corinthia and the emphasis on top-notch services at Ritz Carlton. Visitors can learn about the different offerings and unique selling points of each brand from the company’s representatives present at the exhibition.

An Exciting Future for Saudi Real Estate

With the recent directive allowing non-Saudis to buy single properties in the Kingdom, Diriyah Company is looking forward to the potential for foreign investment in Saudi real estate. Haslam expressed excitement about the global interaction that this move could bring, attracting significant talent to the Kingdom. Sales at the Ritz Carlton development have exceeded expectations, with only 16 out of 106 residences still available.

Expanding Globally

The pop-up event at Harrods is just one part of Diriyah Company’s global strategy to promote Diriyah. Following a successful exhibition at Outernet in London, upcoming events are planned in Los Angeles, New York, Sydney, and Paris. The positive response from visitors at Harrods reflects the emotional connection and pride that the project evokes.
