The bustling city of Al-Ahsa has proudly joined the ranks of 118 other cities from around the globe at the prestigious 16th annual conference of the UNESCO Creative Cities Network. Held in the picturesque city of Braga, Portugal from July 1-5, the event drew in a crowd of creative minds and cultural enthusiasts, including Ernesto Ottone, UNESCO’s esteemed assistant director-general for culture.
Amidst the vibrant atmosphere of the conference, Al-Ahsa, a member of the network since 2015, took center stage to showcase its rich heritage in preserving handicrafts and folk arts.
