Saudi Aid Agency KSrelief Signs Agreement to Support Syrian Orphans in Jordan

In a groundbreaking move, the Saudi aid agency KSrelief has officially signed an agreement to implement a project aimed at supporting 1,000 Syrian orphans and their host communities in Jordan. This project, valued at nearly SR4.9 million ($1.3 million), marks a significant step towards providing much-needed assistance to those in need.

Key Players in the Agreement

The agreement was signed by Dr. Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al-Rabiah, the general supervisor of KSrelief, and Dr. Hussein Al-Shebli, the secretary-general of the Jordanian Hashemite Charity Organization. The signing ceremony took place at the prestigious Saudi Embassy in Amman and was attended by notable figures such as Nayef bin Bandar Al-Sudairi, the Kingdom’s ambassador to Jordan and non-resident ambassador to the State of Palestine, as well as representatives from various international humanitarian organizations.

Supporting Orphans and Communities Across Jordan

Through this agreement, funds will be provided to cover the basic needs of the Syrian orphans, including education, recreation, and community initiatives. The support will extend to various cities in Jordan, including Amman, Zarqa, Mafraq, Irbid, Ajloun, Jerash, Balqa, Madaba, Karak, Tafilah, Ma’an, and Aqaba. This holistic approach aims to not only address immediate needs but also promote long-term stability and well-being for the orphans and their host communities.
