In a bullish day of trading, Saudi Arabia’s Tadawul All Share Index rose by 63.46 points, or 0.55 percent, to close at 11,658.66. The total trading turnover reached SR4.94 billion ($1.31 billion) with 122 listed stocks advancing and 100 retreating.

The Kingdom’s parallel market, Nomu, also saw a surge of 164.81 points, or 0.64 percent, closing at 25,909.95. Of the listed stocks, 33 advanced and 34 retreated.

MSCI Tadawul Index Up by 0.41%

The MSCI Tadawul Index gained 5.92 points, or 0.41 percent, closing at 1,454.65. The best-performing stock of the day was Al-Rajhi Co. for Cooperative Insurance, with a share price surge of 8.85 percent to SR209.

Top Performers and Worst Performer

Other top performers included Al-Jouf Agricultural Development Co., Saudi Arabian Cooperative Insurance Co., The Co. for Cooperative Insurance, and Middle East Specialized Cables Co. The worst performer was Al-Baha Investment and Development Co., with a share price drop of 7.69 percent to SR0.12.

Nomu Market Highlights

In Nomu, Arabian Plastic Industrial Co. was the top gainer with a share price rise of 11.20 percent to SR39.70. Other best performers were Group Five Pipe Saudi Co., Armah Sports Co., Lana Medical Co., and Clean Life Co. The major loser on Nomu was Arabian Food and Dairy Factories Co., with a share price drop of 5.29 percent to SR80.50.
