Shocking: Over 1,100 Unauthorized Drivers Caught at Airports!

Saudi Transport Authority Cracks Down on Unlicensed Airport Transport Services

In a bold move to enhance safety and quality standards for travelers, the Saudi Transport General Authority made a significant bust in June. A whopping 1,100 individuals were apprehended for offering unlicensed transport services to passengers at the Kingdom’s airports.

Working hand in hand with the Ministry of Interior and other relevant authorities, this crackdown is part of a larger campaign aimed at improving the overall travel experience for passengers.

Individuals caught providing transport services without the proper license face severe consequences. They may have their vehicles impounded and be slapped with a hefty fine of up to SR5,000 ($1,330).

This enforcement effort is far from over, as the campaign continues to target those operating outside the bounds of the law. Stay tuned for more updates on this ongoing initiative.
