French Ambassador Reflects on Bilateral Relations with Saudi Arabia
Riyadh: As his diplomatic mission in Saudi Arabia comes to a close, appointed French ambassador Ludovic Pouille sat down with Arab News en Francais for an interview, shedding light on the key aspects of the bilateral relations between the Kingdom and France.

Trade in goods between France and Saudi Arabia reached €9.5 billion ($10.2 billion) in 2023, reflecting an 18% increase since the launch of Vision 2030 in 2016. French exports to Saudi Arabia have surged, with the aeronautics sector leading the way.

French direct investment in Saudi Arabia, valued at nearly $5 billion, is primarily concentrated in energy and industrial sectors.
