Children with Disability Association in Al-Baha Launches New Initiative
In an effort to promote integration and empowerment, the Children with Disability Association in Al-Baha has teamed up with Al-Baha Municipality to launch a groundbreaking new initiative.
The initiative, titled “Integration and Empowerment,” aims to foster unity and engagement among children with disabilities and their peers. Through a series of recreational and social activities, the initiative seeks to help these children reintegrate into society with ease.
Nujoud Al-Ghamdi, director of the association, expressed that the main goal of the initiative is to enhance social communication and cohesion between society and children with disabilities. By spreading joy and happiness, the initiative hopes to bridge the gap between these two groups.
The launch of the initiative took place during the Baljurashi Front Festival and has since continued its programs at Bahjat Raghadan Park in Al-Baha.
Al-Ghamdi outlined the key objectives of the initiative, which include ensuring that children with disabilities receive their rights, uncovering their talents, enhancing their quality of life and mental well-being, and eliminating any obstacles that may impede their integration into society.
