KSrelief’s Life-Changing Training for Orphan Supervisors in Yemen

Saudi Aid Agency KSrelief Launches Training Program for Orphan Supervisors in Yemen

In a groundbreaking move, the Saudi aid agency KSrelief has kicked off a comprehensive training program for individuals overseeing orphans in Yemen’s coastal region of Hadramout. This initiative is being carried out in close collaboration with Yemen’s ministry of social affairs and labor.

This program is a pivotal part of KSrelief’s Sanad for Orphans project, designed to boost the efficiency and skills of orphan supervisors through a combination of skill-building exercises, knowledge enhancement sessions, and hands-on behavioral training. The project will also delve into important practices related to orphan protection and care.

The Sanad project, which aims to provide social, educational, and economic empowerment programs for orphans and their families, will also include a specialized training session for 30 social supervisors hailing from organizations dedicated to orphan care in Hadramout and Taiz governorates.
